ESSEX RACE DAY AT KEMPTON PARK

We are pleased to announce that arrangements have been agreed for the evening meeting Essex Race Day here at Kempton Park Racecourse on Thursday, March 25, to be sponsored by Essex Racing Club and local businesses

Essex Racing Club, which has been racing at Kempton Park regularly over the past few months, winning here twice with Red Suede Shoes.  Six other local businesses have agreed each to sponsor a race during the evening under the banner of Essex Race Day at Kempton Park.  Managed by Barry Root, the Club, which has four horses in training at present, was originally formed prior to the opening of the now-closed Great Leighs Racecourse, and featured regularly at that course with sponsorship and membership promotion during the time it was open for racing in 2008/9..

With Great Leighs Racecourse still closed, this evening at Kempton Park, where the first race is 5.50pm, provides an excellent opportunity for some exposure both locally and nationally for the Club, as well as a really enjoyable evening out for members, clients and guests.  We are hoping that we can encourage some additions to our Membership, which at present comes from all quarters of the country, and even has some Members in Belgium and the USA!

The Club will have membership promotional displays at the racecourse.  In addition to the low-cost Annual Membership, the Club offers share ownership options in the Club’s horses.

In addition to race sponsorship, a number of organisations are taking a Private Box on the evening, and there are also opportunities for businesses to occupy one of the trade display spaces which are currently available.
