2013 FEATURE DAYS
Peppa Pig and George - Saturday 30th March (Easter Saturday)
Due to popular demand, award winning Peppa Pig and her little brother George are back on Easter Sunday. They will be appearing at various intervals during the afternoon race fixture, meeting and greeting their friends.
Mike the Knight - Saturday 13th April
New to Kempton Park in 2013 is Mike the Knight, an energetic young knight-in-training bringing the excitement and enchantment of medival times. Mike the Knight will be appearing at various intervals throughout afternoon racing. There will also be Rockaoke for the adults to enjoy – with the chance to take to the stage and sing with a live band!
BetVictor Mascot Grand National - Monday 6th May (Bank Holiday)
We are pleased to announce that the Mascot Grand National is back at Kempton for the second year running. Come along and see the mascots racing down the final furlong, jumping over specially made hurdles. It is the wackiest, funniest race you're ever likely to see attracting mascots from sports clubs, charities and other organisations from nationwide - all in aid of charity. There will be a mini mobile petting farm, bouncy castle, ball pond, toyset ride, facepainters, balloon modellers and the children will be able to meet the mascots.
Irish Night - Wednesday 10th July
Come along and enjoy the craic with an action packed evening of racing and plenty of the black stuff, all rounded off with some Celtic music. We have live Irish music from Naymedici who play folk as it should be played, loud. Combining gypsy licks, Irish reels, punk guitars and thrashing drums, Naymedici have burst onto the Uk and Irish scene with an original fresh sound that is both in your face, and a lot of fun!
Ladies' Day featuring DJ Toby Anstis - Saturday 7th September
Join us for Kempton's most fashionable day of the year including an afternoon of quality on-track action with two Group 3 races; the September Stakes and Sirenia Stakes. Be sure to dress to impress for the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes with competitions for the Best Dressed Lady, the Best Dressed Gentleman and the Best Hat or Fascinator. Following the last race racegoers can enjoy a party in the parade ring with a live DJ set from Kempton Park favourite; Heart FM's Toby Anstis.
Kempton Live with Conor Maynard - Saturday 14th September
Kempton Park is delighted to announce that pop sensation Conor Maynard will be performing live after Twilight racing on Saturday, September 14th. With a number one album, three top ten hits and well over half a million singles sold in the UK alone, Conor Maynard has more than proved why he won MTV’s Best Newcomer for 2012. Join us for an action packed evening of racing followed by live music from Conor Maynard - the perfect way to end the summer at Kempton Park.
William Hill Winter Festival - Thursday 26th & Friday 27th December
If you're a Jump racing fan, tickets to the William Hill Winter Festival should be top of your Christmas present list! The two day festival attended by approximately 30,000 people allows you to witness some of the highest quality Jump racing available, featuring the world famous William Hill King George VI Steeple Chase, which was won for the second time in 2012 by Long Run. Who will be crowned King in 2013?
